Update Name Server for .MY Domain (Legacy Method)

The method to update the name server for .MY domain is different from .COM domain. The .MY domain is manage by Mynic and it has it own selfcare portal for user. Please follow these steps to update the name server through Mynic selfcare portal:

1. Please login to Mynic Selfcare portal at

https://selfcare.ichoose.my/login

Note: If you don’t have Mynic selfcare login password, please use the Forget Username | Forget password option to reset a new password.

2. After login, in the Dashboard, type in the domain and click “Search“

3. In the domain listing, click on the “Manage” for the domain that you want to update the name server.

4. Go to “Nameserver” tab section, then click on “Edit”

Note: If you don’t see the “Edit” button, that mean you are not the appointed Technical role to manage this domain. Please refer to this article on how to appoint the Technical role if you want us to manage the domain for you.

5. Then type in the name server and click “Save“.

6. Then it will prompt a TAC for 2FA authentication. Select the mobile phone number and click “Continue“. Then click “Request TAC“.

7. Fill in the TAC code you receive and click “Continue“

8. Then repeat the same steps again to update name server 2.

9. If you require update more than 2 name server, then you can click “Add Nameserver” to add additional name server.

10. The .MY domain name server is now updated.
